Carlos Batts is an award winning; Artist, Photographer and Director. Batts' artwork has appeared on book covers (SNUFF, Author, Chuck Palahniuk, Random House UK), fashion magazines (VIBE, Complex, Maxim), (WARP Japan), Music Videos (Pig Destroyer, Dog Fashion Disco), comic books (DC Comics/Vertigo) and movies (A Dirty Shame/Disturbia). Carlos has three internationally distributed hardbound coffee table books; Wild Skin (Edition Ruess 2001), Crazy Sexy Hollywood (Edition Ruess 2003) and American Gothic (Scapegoat Publishing 2005) that document a wide variety of sub-cultures. Batts has directed independent features; Voluptuous Biker Babes and Kiss Attack as well art films American Gothic Dangerous Curves, Behind the RED Door, Glamazons and Voluptuous Life that are distributed through various mainstream outlets. Born in Baltimore, Batts now lives and creates in Hollywood with his muse, April Flores.
